This Privacy Policy explains how Left Atom LLC ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of Confess Mob, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Confess Mob mobile app and confessmob.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Email address — when you join our waitlist or create an account.
- Account & profile info — display name, avatar, and any friends or "crews" you save.
- Content you submit — confessions, answers, custom questions, and photos you choose to share in a game.
- Purchase info — records of in-app purchases (e.g., coins). Payments are processed by the app stores; we do not receive your full card details.
- Usage & device data — app interactions, device type, operating system, and general diagnostics used to keep the Service working.
2. How we use your information
- To run the game, deliver confessions, and show results to players.
- To operate coins, answer reveals, achievements, and leaderboards.
- To send you the launch announcement and Service updates (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- To keep the Service safe, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.
3. Anonymity within the game
Confessions are shown to other players in a masked, anonymous form. Other players can spend in-game coins to reveal who submitted an answer, as part of how the game works. This means content you submit may be attributed to you inside the game. Please only share what you're comfortable with.
4. Disappearing content
Game results are designed to be deleted approximately 24 hours after a game ends. While we aim to remove this content on that schedule, backups, caches, or screenshots taken by other players may persist outside our control. Do not treat disappearance as a guarantee of permanent deletion everywhere.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us operate — for example hosting, analytics, email delivery, and payment processing.
- Legal & safety recipients when required by law or to protect users and the Service.
- Other players, limited to the in-game content and reveal mechanics described above.
6. Data retention & deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal reasons. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@confessmob.com.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@confessmob.com.
8. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be announced in the app.
